ABOUT THE PARK
Nestled among the woods near Oregon, Missouri, is a charming and secluded venue for weddings, reunions, and gatherings of all varieties.
Guests of the park can wander through the enchanted forest, dance in the 100-year-old restored barn, feast under a two-level covered pavilion, and fall in love in Timber’s Edge Chapel. Paradise Park has many beautiful secrets to be discovered; exploration is always encouraged.

The centerpiece of the park is a uniquely restored 100-year-old barn filled with plants, flowers, memorabilia, artwork – even a beautifully landscaped 1000 gallon indoor pond. The barn's capacity is between 50 and 100 people, depending on whether you want to dance or dine.
These doors frame the entry way into the 100-year-old barn, whose hardwood floors make for a great dance floor or intimate wedding space.
Perfect for that romantic first dance lit by sparkling lights.
One of the many sections of the antique barn, perfect for your guests to take a leisurely stroll through and great for photo ops.
Located inside the barn's garden area.
Make the most of the park's facilities and grill up your own reception dinner. A full electric outdoor kitchenette is also available, and perfect for catering and buffet lines.
Close to the barn and the chapel is an open-air pavilion tucked into the trees and overlooking the creek. The shelter has a concrete floor with adjoining wooden deck, lighting inside and out, and electrical outlets. Weather proof tarp walls are ready and available to ensure your day will be a dry one. The shelter can comfortably seat 150 at tables. Additional nearby seating is also available.
Hanging lights are pre-strung and available to make your night a sparkling one.
Make use of the side deck for extra seating or a dance floor.
Adjacent from the pavilion is Timber's Edge Chapel, an indoor wedding location available year-round.
Timber's Edge Chapel is located close to the parking lot, barn, outdoor pavilion and restrooms. The chapel is also handicap accessible.
Climate controlled with central heating and air conditioning, the rustic chapel seats 125 guests, with a downstairs dining hall and kitchen that seats 75.
Timber's Edge Chapel's beautiful windows overlook the creek and surrounding forest. Two styles of candelabras, heart and v, with white candles are provided with use of the chapel.
Perfect for your rehearsal dinner or a small reception, the downstairs of Timber's Edge Chapel seats up to 75 people. This space is also available as a bridal party preparation area.
The chapel’s downstairs also includes a full kitchen, serving tables, and a wrap around outdoor patio ideal for catering drop offs.
Located just beyond the chapel and across from the pavilion, is the park's stage, tucked close to the forest. This is a prime location for outdoor weddings. On-site chairs and set up are available.
Follow the path further into the park to the Enchanted Forest, a beautiful secluded area for outdoor weddings.
One of the many gazebo locations Paradise Park has to offer. This gazebo is located inside the Enchanted Forest, centralized in a romantic location of sheltering trees and a babbling nearby creek.
Located near the front of the park and pavilion, the covered bridge is great for photo opportunities and creative decorating. The bridge serves as a scenic overlook of the creek or as additional sheltered seating space for your guests.
A babbling creek and wooded forest paths surround Paradise Park, making for exciting exploration and beautiful photographs.
One of the many hidden gems in Paradise Park, a full electric train set runs along a small path just beyond the pavilion and barn.

Paradise Park is located just outside the quiet farm town of Oregon, Missouri, about 20 miles North of St. Joseph. To get there, take I-29 to Exit 67 – Oregon. Turn West onto 59 Highway and go about 1-1/2 miles until you see the Paradise Park sign. Go North about a half mile to Paradise Park.
